Indoor Air Quality for Healthy Living

A cleaner, healthier home begins with cleaner air.

When it comes to cleaning the air in your home there are plenty of choices; air filters, air purifiers, air ionizers.

Note:  We spend 90% of our lives indoors, according to EPA reports.  Indoor air quality is frequently more polluted than the air outside.

Allergy sufferers are especially vulnerable.

Choosing the right filter to meet your needs

Some air cleaners only remove very large particles to protect your home's heating and cooling system.  Think 1" filters.
Others are effective on allergen and particles.  Still others are effective all the way down to virus sized particles.
The best air cleaners take care of the issues you need addressed;  equipment protection, allergy relief or providing a healthy home.

What about humidification?

Humidifiers add moisture to the air. They can help people with dry skin, allergies, and respiratory problems. They may also help prevent influenza and reduce snoring, among other benefits.

However, people are more likely to benefit from a humidifier in the cold months, when cold air dries out the lungs, nose, and lips. Also, some types of central heating can dry out the air indoors.

At Milner Energy and Comfort, we specialize in creating healthier, more comfortable homes.
